Sudan: Usa, "enormemente allarmati"; Bashir rinvia viaggio a Juba

(AGI) - Washington, 27 mar. - Situazione sempre piu' allarmante nel Sudan dove continuano gli scontri al confine con il Sud Sudan. In serata il Dipartimento di Stato Usa e' intervenuto, attraverso la portavoce Victoria Nuland, spiegando che gli Stati Uniti sono "enormemente allarmati" da quello che sta succedendo". "Sollecitiamo entrambe le parti - ha detto la Nuland - a cessare immediatamente il fuoco ai confini perche' l'escalation potrebbe uscire fuori dal controllo". Le violenze hanno anche spinto il presidente sudanese Omar Hassan al-Bashir, a sospendere il suo viaggio a Juba per incontrare l'omologo Salva Kiir e riportare il dialogo tra le parti. Il Sudan del Sud oggi ha accusato Khartoum di aver bombardato importanti giacimenti petroliferi in un raid oltre confine.
